Natur Tanya® PROPOLSEPT SEA BUCKTHORN-ORANGE combines 5 active ingredients: purified and dewaxed propolis extract (400 mg per serving, providing 12 mg of polyphenols), agrimony extract (187.5 mg per serving), rosehip extract (163 mg per serving, providing 114 mg of vitamin C), sea buckthorn extract (50 mg per serving), and common sage essential oil (0.6 mg per serving).

The mild sea buckthorn-orange flavour is highly enjoyable, combining the freshness of sweet orange with the slightly tart character of sea buckthorn. This is provided in part by the 480 mg of dried orange juice concentrate and the sea buckthorn extract contained in the product. Our product is easy to dose: we recommend allowing the tablets to dissolve slowly in the mouth so you can enjoy the sea buckthorn-orange flavour for as long as possible.

Have you heard of PROPOLIS?
The word propolis comes from Greek, where pro means “at the entrance” and polis means “community” or “city”, referring to the fact that honeybees use this natural substance to protect the hive. Propolis is also commonly known as bee glue. The history of propolis use dates back to the ancient Greeks, Romans, Persians and Egyptians.

Propolis produced by honeybees (Apis mellifera) originates from the resinous secretions of the bark and leaf buds of plants such as poplar, beech, birch, chestnut and pine. Bees collect and process these substances by mixing them with salivary secretions and wax.

The colour of propolis depends on the climate and is usually brown, although it can occur in shades ranging from yellow to black, often with reddish and greenish tones. The propolis extract used in our product is predominantly yellowish-brown.

PROPOLIS IS PART OF THE BEES’ NATURAL DEFENCE AGAINST PATHOGENS, PARASITES, BACTERIA AND VIRUSES. Bees use propolis to help maintain a sterile environment within the hive, where it acts as a type of NATURAL DISINFECTANT.

OUR PRODUCT CONTAINS PURIFIED, DEWAXED PROPOLIS EXTRACT STANDARDISED TO 3% POLYPHENOLS
POLYPHENOLS ARE AMONG THE MOST IMPORTANT BIOACTIVE COMPONENTS OF PROPOLIS.

The recommended daily serving provides 400 mg of propolis extract, containing 12 mg of standardised polyphenols. The purification process significantly reduces the amount of lipid components naturally present in raw propolis, including fatty acids, short-chain triglycerides and waxes. The propolis extract contains less than 0.5% lipid components. The resulting propolis extract is a water-dispersible final product. During the process, the lipid components are gradually removed while the amount of active ingredients (polyphenols) remains unchanged.

• Polyphenol content is determined using high-performance liquid chromatography with diode-array detection (HPLC-DAD).

As a naturally derived substance, propolis may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. The substantial reduction of allergenic substances during the production of the propolis extract is achieved using the microorganism Lactobacillus helveticus LH5, which has significant cinnamoyl esterase enzyme activity.
