Non GMOA building block of natural energy processes
D-ribose is a naturally occurring monosaccharide – a simple sugar – with five carbon atoms. It belongs to the group of so-called pentoses and is a fundamental component of numerous biological structures and processes.
This sugar is present in all living cells, in both plant and animal tissue. D-ribose is particularly interesting due to its role in energy metabolism: it is a fundamental component of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), an energy-rich compound produced in the mitochondria. These are considered to be the ‘power plants’ of the cells, since the energy required for many cell functions is provided here in the form of ATP.
In addition, D-ribose is also a structural component of RNA (ribonucleic acid), which is involved in the implementation of genetic information.
Due to its versatile biological significance, D-ribose is being looked at with interest in both research and the field of modern nutrition.
DIRECTION (1 serving = 5 g)
Stir 1 measuring spoon (5 g) daily into 200 ml water.
STORAGE
After usage always close. Lumps can form over time, but they can be broken up easily. Store cool and dry.
WARNINGS
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Keep out of reach of small children. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
